Dr. Ghadeer Basunbul is a Consultant in Prosthodontics and Esthetic Dentistry, and an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Dentistry, King Abdulaziz University. Her career has been built on two sides of the same specialty: treating complex cases clinically, and training the dentists who will treat them next.

She has advanced expertise in dental implants, fixed and removable prosthodontics, and full-mouth rehabilitation, and treats complex restorative cases with a focus on restoring function, oral health, and confidence.

 Alongside her clinical practice, she has held senior academic and regulatory roles — including Director of the Joint Training Committee (Sector 2) for the Saudi Board in Prosthodontics at the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties. She currently serves on the board of the Saudi Prosthodontics Society and heads the Scientific and Organizing Committee of the Prosthodontics Scientific Forum.

 Her approach is evidence-based and patient-centered: informed by research, tested in clinical practice, and taught to the next generation of prosthodontists
